City Guide: The “Health” trail across Paris

Heirs to the Cosbo, the ‘BCBS’ (Bon Chic Bon Space) are renewing the futuristic smart trend.
Influenced as always by the space wave, these trend-setters, whom we studied at our last trends presentation – “Fashion Heroes” – at Who’s Next, are looking for new energy. Like explorers in time, their minds are distinctly future-oriented, with boundless optimism.
This trend translates into fashion in the form of a sporty stylish look: the silhouette borrows its codes from the suit (jackets, shirts, Bermuda shorts…) to give a structured effect and a blend of reference and sport. Novel technical materials, striped prints (baseball or bands with a composite touch) and sports accessories (sneakers and white socks, buckles) elegantly go to make up the wardrobe of this new “style athlete”.
Here, the sports hybrid silhouette finds a new lease of life through highly architectured construction and regressive geometry with keen colours. Ruffled by Jacquemus-style pop discipline, this silhouette has all the appearance of a Rubik cube-style playing field. Suspended geometric yokes that redefine our relationship with garments, and an exploration of shape inspired by the minimal aestheticism of John McCracken and Donald Judd. The sculptural equations reorganize the proportions of the body. Volumes are lengthened, hollowed and flared…
The wardrobe finds its expression in neutral tones and is pepped up with radiant colours and metallic touches. Optic prints are reworked with a soft matrix or network style, where you can feel the influence of a certain form of technology.
